Mary Ganske, nee Marsh, age 88, went to be with the Lord Jesus on November 25, 2012. Her last earthly residence was last week in the Olivia White Hospice Home. Mary was born on October 21, 1924. She spent the last 44 years in Flagstaff.
She was preceded in death by her parents James B and Lois Marsh, brothers Charles and John. She is survived by Vernon, her loving husband of 49 years, one sister and one brother in Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was deeply involved with the building of the Assembly of God Church on 4th St. and was involved with the beginning of the Northland Christian Assembly in West Flagstaff. Prior to coming to Flagstaff Mary and Vernon built the First Assembly of God Church in Oelwein, Iowa, were she was approved for full Ordination and ministered for a number of years. She was part of the singing Marsh’s in Missouri and traveled and sang throughout the Midwest with Mary Warren. Her greatest strength was prayer. She will be missed by many.
