Mrs. Mary Frances “Frankie” Roberts, age 75, of Huguley, Al., passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Sarah Colley of Huguley; two brothers, James Robertson of Valley and Johnnie (Sandy) Robertson of West Point; four sisters, Barbara Prestridge of Macon, Ga., Betty (Venson) Bailey of Carrollton, Ga., Peggy Hamby of Beulah, and Vicky (Bobby) Hanna of Lanett; four grandchildren, Christopher Colley of Lanett, Jeremy Colley of Valley, Matthew Colley of Lanett, and Tori Roberts of Lanett; eight great grandchildren, Laci Colley, Madison Colley, Gracie Colley, Lexis Colley, Austin Colley, Aubrey Colley, Blair Colley, and Tatum Colley; daughter in law, Dianne Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Roberts; son, Clayton Roberts; brothers, Wendell Robertson, Bobby Wayne Robertson, and Harold Robertson.
Mrs. Roberts was born on may 30, 1939 in Randolph County, Al. to the late Sanders D. Robertson and Pearl Robertson. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked for West Point Pepperell for 48 years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was an avid University of Alabama football and Atlanta braves fan. She loved taking care of her dog Bama.
