Mary Francis Emberton (86) of Nokesville, Virginia passed away on August 19, 2024 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on Paris Mountain in Virginia on March 21, 1938. She later made Nokesville, Virginia her home in 1956 with her beloved husband, Veachel Harrison Emberton. Mary was a loving wife of 69 years, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She had a bottomless heart and loved to the fullest extent. Mary was a pillar in her community and her family. She was always so happy to help anyone in their time of need. Mary loved her family, trips to Charles Town, working in her flower beds, listening to Elvis and Kitty Wells and going through family pictures. Mary was a hard worker and she never stopped learning. She was truly an extraordinary person who will be missed dearly by anyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Mary is survived by her children: Danny Harrison Emberton (Linda), Willie Carl Emberton, Mary Jane Oakes (Jimmy), Debbie Sue Plemmons (Boo), Pamela Jean Pritchett (Chris), and daughter in law Vickie Emberton; grandchildren: Deanna, Tammy, Willie Jr, Jeremy, Sam, Amanda, Amy, Jennifer, Sarah, Matthew and Mary-Jo; 20 Great Grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. She also survived by her sister Betty May Crawford. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents Carl Raymond Hurst and Cora Belle Hurst (Thompson); husband Veachel Harrison Emberton; son Joseph Franklin Emberton; daughter in law Barbara Emberton; brothers: Raymond, Bill, Joe, Bob, James, Harry, Frank, Fred, Johnnie; sisters: Rosie and Dorothy.
