Mrs. Mary Frances Drake Coltharp, 91, died Saturday, May 16th, 2020, at her home in Oxford, MS… Chelsey Hedglin officiating. Born in Philadelphia, MS, to the late John Nicholas and Viola Cannon Drake, Mrs. Coltharp was the widow of Mr. Clyde Hickey Coltharp. As a staple of the Oxford community, Mrs. Coltharp worked for South Central Bell and Dr. Purvis McLaurin before opening Julie’s Fashions where she was the owner and operator for 20 years. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Oxford-University United Methodist is survived by her daughter, Julie Coltharp Overstreet of Oxford and a granddaughter, Chelsey Overstreet Hedglin and her husband, Christopher of Nashville, TN.. Coltharp’s memory may be made to Oxford-University United Methodist Church, 424 South 10th Street, Oxford, MS 38655.
