Mary A. Fleetwood, 95, a faithful servant of God, passed away on Monday December 17, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Mary was born July 7, 1917 in Lawrence County and was the daughter of John and Clara (Branamen) Glasgow.
She was retired after 32 years at RCA. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith for 80 years and had attended The Church of Jesus Christ for the past 27 years. Mary loved to serve others and was a very generous lady. After retirement she took numerous baskets of food to people that had suffered a loss or were in need. She loved to sing praises to the Lord.
Mary is survived by her Daughter Sarah Lone and her husband William of Bloomington and her son Ned Fleetwood also of Bloomington, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband James Fleetwood in 2003, sons Jack Fleetwood and Horace “Bud” Fleetwood, granddaughter Toni Fleetwood, grandsons, Steve Fleetwood and Jeffrey Thickstun, sisters, Maude Dillman, Lorene Schultz, Rhoda Semon, Gracie Glasgow, and Drotha East, and brothers William, Lebert and Moses Glasgow.
