Mary Louise Timmons was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Oscar and Anna Timmons. The family settled in Chickasha, Oklahoma where she grew up and finished High School.

Mary developed her work ethic while growing up on the family’s small farm, and it served her well. She worked hard most of her life, found her real niche as a CNA later in life.

She married John Fitzpatrick whom preceded her in death October 28th, 1965. Together, they had two children William Bertrum, and Carla Jean.

Today, Mary has three granddaughters and nine great-grandchildren including a set of twins!

At the age of 86 health concerns required Mary to retire. Pressing on like a Trooper, she battled whatever health challenges arose confident in her eternal home, remarking “…this life and one more.”

Fostering friendships along the way, she lived each day to her best, always encouraging everyone to keep the past in the past, guard your time in the Bible every morning, and be grateful. She was best known for her caring spirit, easy smile and zany sense of humor, her favorite color purple, buying clothes and shoes from catalogues, spraying perfume-on everyone, painting her nails, collecting ink pens, her flawless crochet, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, sharing store bought pies in her room with nursing home residents and staff, African Violets, and eating shrimp at Red Lobster.

She was an amazing friend, Mother and Grandmother. Our family will miss her terribly but with gratitude and pride at a long life shared and lived well. There will never be another like her.
