WESTFIELD – Mary Murphy, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on January 15, 1939, in Westfield, MA to the late Harry Fish and Molly (Mahoney) Fish.
Mary attended Westfield High School, Class of 1957.
Mary was an avid gardener and expert self-made decorator. She enjoyed decorating for every holiday season and then some.
Mary started her working career in Westfield at Stanley Home Products. Then after more than 20 years retired from (Pryofax, Petrolane) Amerigas, where she met her late husband, Francis “Pete” Murphy and many good friends.
Mary is predeceased by her parents Harry and Molly Fish, her husband Pete Murphy, and her four brothers: Jack Fish, Bud Fish, Bill Fish, and Don Fish.
Survivors include her daughter Cheryl Wagner and Butch (husband) of Feeding Hills, MA, her sister Connie Hines of Ft. Worth, TX, her grandchildren Carin Dulin and Peter (husband) of Granby, CT, and Erik Wagner and Gabriella Spear of Agawam, MA, along with other family members, and great friends who have shared their lives since her childhood years.
