Mary Faith Cavanaugh, 78, of South Seaside Park, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her home. Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, she was a long-time Seaside Park resident and graduate of Central Regional High School Class of 1962. She spent the last 40 years with the love of her life, William “Bill” Wutzer.
Together they were avid travelers and adventurers, and often spent the winters in Florida. Mary & Bill were also business partners in many restaurants in the Seaside Heights and on the boardwalk, some of which included Sir Kyle’s, Midway Steaks and Marathon Steak & Potato Company. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Marion (Young) Cavanaugh and her partner Bill Wutzer.
She is survived by her brothers; Joseph Cavanaugh, Bob Cavanaugh, and Tim Cavanaugh, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended boardwalk family, and friends. Mary will be remembered by her immense kindness, her endless generosity, playful sense of humor and fierce independence.
