Mary Frances (Hunter) Woods, born June 30 1920 to Robert and Blanche Hunter in Lucas, IA , passed away peacefully Februrary 24, 2016. Mary was joined in marriage to Leonard “Pete” Woods in 1947. Mary taught school in Lucas as a young woman, and later in life in Woodburn and Osceola, IA. She also supported Leonard in operating Woods Grocery in Lucas for many years.
