Mary Frances Bosker went home to be with her Lord on February 5, 2016 at the age of 81. Mary was born July 8, 1934 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of George and Mary (Lemmer) Koning and has been a lifelong area resident. She was employed for over 27 years with Old Kent Bank (5/3 Bank) until her retirement. Mary was a long time member of Third Christian Reformed Church and more recently of Grace Christian Reformed Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Second Impressions Store, spending time reading, loving her pets but the most important part of her life was spending time with her family.
On August 6, 1954 she was united in marriage to Robert P. Bosker, who preceded her in death on December 30, 1992. She was also preceded by her parents and two sisters Betty Koning and Alice Owen. Surviving are her children Bill (Kathy) Bosker, Don Bosker and Linda (Bob) Westrate; seven grandchildren Tim (Carley) Bosker, Michele (Jeff) DeLoof, Bethany (Greg) Herder, Shane (Liz) Bosker, Jordan (Tiffany) Bosker, Brad (Erin) Westrate, Kurt Westrate (Samantha Hill); eight great-grandchildren; a sister Marcie (Gordon) DeBlaey; several nieces and nephews.
