Mary Ellen Sheets, 76, of Newburg, WV, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Preston Memorial Hospital. Mary Ellen was born on July 14, 1945 to the late James and Mildred Maxine (Messenger) Uphold.
Mary Ellen enjoyed going to church, Nascar Races, shopping and gambling with her girlfriends, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, (it would have been their 50th Anniversary on April 22nd), Richard David Sheets; two sons, Larry Allen Morris; Todd Emerson Morris (Elizabeth) of Newburg; daughter Becky Denise Field (Steve) of Bridgeport; two sisters, Shirley Ann Costlow (Albert), Medina, OH; Loretta Jean Weaver, Kingwood, WV; four grandchildren; Steven Tyler Field, Davey Ray Field, Wyatt Morris, and Dillon Koontz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Renee Morris; two brothers, James “Joe” Uphold, Jr. and Robert “Bob” Uphold.
