Mary Ellen Purzycki, age 92, of Monroe, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Chester A. Purzycki, passed away peacefully Monday, December 17, 2018 at the CT Hospice, Branford. Born in Shelton, the daughter of the late Sven and Anna Peterson, she lived in Fairfield for many years prior to moving to Monroe 30 years ago. During World War II, Mary worked as an assembler at Chance-Vought Aircraft. While living in Fairfield she was a member of the Lake Hills Association.
