Mary Ellen Mills Age 69 of Bannister passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital.A graveside service will be held 2pm Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Ford Cemetery in Elsie, Michigan with Pastor John James officiating.Mary was born September 5, 1947 in Owosso, the daughter of George Samuel and Gloria (Siewert) Banagis.Mary loved animals, especially her two dogs and feeding the birds. She was a very giving person to her friends and family and loved spending her time in prayer and reading her bible.She married Donald L. Mills in Harrisburg, Arkansas on October 26, 1966.Mary is survived by her husband Donald; her son, David (Jeri) Mills; her daughter, Kathleen Mills; brother, George (Joyce) Banagis; seven grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many other loving friends and family.She was predeceased by her parents.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
