Haydenville- Mary Elizabeth (O’Donnell) Seymour, age 91, formerly of High Street in Haydenville, died peacefully on Monday evening at the Linda Manor Extended Care Facility after a period of declining health.
Mary was born in Northampton, MA on November 18, 1928 and was the one nine children of the late Richard Henry O’Donnell and Mary Elizabeth (Delaney) O’Donnell. She was raised and educated in Northampton. In 1947 Mary married the love of her life, Merton Noel Seymour and together they
celebrated fifty five years of marriage together until Merton’s death, on September 29, 2002.
Mary was a very proud mother and home maker for her family, supporting and assisting her son’s as a den leader in cub scouting. She was known for her baby sitting and childcare skills for her neighborhood children.
