Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Middleton Cox, age 72, of Hurst Road, Wallingford, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at her home.
Libby is survived by her husband of 45 years, Craig Cox; two daughters, Marsha Shawn Craft of Wallingford and Judith “Lynn” Workman of Muses Mill, and a great niece whom she raised as a daughter, Rebecca Mae Middleton of Wallingford; and two grandchildren, Peyton Craft and Cody McVey.
Other survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Brabant of Goshen, Ohio, and Pat Hayes of Monroe, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends.
Libby retired from Cowden Mfg. and enjoyed camping, fishing, working puzzles, and watching videos—just recently she became interested in watching “monkey rescues.” Libby loved frogs and enjoyed collecting anything “froggy.
