Mary E. Shenk Hartman, (Libby), of Bridgeport, wife of Robert B. Hartman, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Bridgeport. Mrs. Hartman was born July 20, 1928 in Lancaster, PA, daughter of the late Bertha M. Trout and Lois G. Shenk, Sr. She graduated with a BS in teaching from the Millersville State Teacher’s University in Millersville, PA in 1950 and taught briefly before marrying and moving to Connecticut with her husband.
