Prospect – Mary Elizabeth Goewey, age 64, of Prospect died unexpectedly Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Mary was born in Sharon, CT to the late Eldred and Betty (Hatch) Goewey. Until the time of her death, Mary worked for Microtech, Inc. in Cheshire. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, 8/40 and enjoyed crafting.
Mary is survived by her sister, Linda Nadeau and her husband, Donald of Vermont; her brothers Michael Goewey and his wife Helen, and Manfred Goewey, all of Prospect; several nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
