Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Jepson, age 82, beloved wife of 58 years, of Milford City Clerk Alan Jepson, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2006 in her home with her family present. Born in Cambridge, MA, Betty was a graduate of Stratford High School, Stratford, CT and Tufts University/Jackson College with a B.A. in Psychology. Betty loved the city of Milford and was a very active member of the community, while raising her five girls. She was employed for 20 years at the Milford Shop and Schpero’s Jewelers. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a sales representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston and was a personnel interviewer for General Electric in Bridgeport.
