Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Gardner) Bacon, 107, of Cromwell, wife of the late Charles Burton Bacon, passed away on Friday, July 24th at Pilgrim Manor. Born in Cromwell, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe Hoskins and Elsie Sophia (Leach) Gardner. Betty graduated from Middletown High School, Class of 1924 and Radcliffe College, Class of 1928.
