Mary Elizabeth Anderson, 90, of Ft Pierce, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
Mary was born on May 29, 1931, in Bluffton, SC, to the late Rev. JA Peterson and Kate Williams. Mary was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
She is the mother of 7 children and blessed with 55 grandchildren. She dedicated her life to family, friends, and the church. She spent her early years working at DiGorgio Packing house as a grader and worked many years for Piper Aircraft.
She also worked on a commercial fishing vessel alongside her beloved husband Charles. As a young woman, she sang on church radio with her sisters and helped her father and siblings build Pioneer Baptist Church in Vero Beach, Fl.
