Mary Eileen Germershausen, age 86, a resident of Charlottesville, VA, and previously of Pasadena, passed peacefully with her children by her side on August 26, 2014, in Charlottesville.
She was born on August 12, 1928, in Baltimore, to the late Louis and Anna Marie Keys (nee Rebstock). After attending school at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, she worked as a secretary, and as a real estate agent for 15 years in Anne Arundel County, and from 1961 until 1991 was the co owner of the Nautical Lounge in Pasadena.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years: Joseph Germershausen; and her brother Lou Keys.
Eileen is survived by her two sons: Joe, of Baltimore, and Keith, of Stevensville; and her daughter Barb, of Charlottesville, VA, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
