Mary “Monica” (Sedar) Eggert, 82, of Middletown, wife of the late Arnold Eggert, passed away on Tuesday, June 14th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Windsor Locks on May 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jessie (Blackus) Sedar. Monica spent her younger days in Florida before returning to Connecticut to have a distinguished career in the health care field in Old Saybrook for many years. She worked diligently as CEO and Director of the Estuary Council in Old Saybrook and was very proud of the Senior Center there that bears her name.
