Mary Elizabeth Wellham, 91, of Linthicum, passed away at her residence on December 29, 2011. Mary was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 20, 1920 to the late William W. & Fannie Wellham. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, from Towson State Teachers College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and earned a Master’s Degree in Art from Columbia University, New York. Mary retired from Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a Supervisor of Art. She enjoyed painting and traveling, known as a world traveler. Ms. Wellham is survived by her brothers; William Wellham of Linthicum and John Wellham of Ellicott City; her sisters; Frances Wellham and Marjorie Bavis of Linthicum.
