SALEM – Mary E. Warrington, 89, of Salem, formerly of Edinburg, Ohio, died at 3:27 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 19, 1924 in Salem, the daughter of the late Bert and Elizabeth (Phillis) Harris. Mary was last employed by the Thomas Hardware in Edinburg, and also at Sandy & Beaver Insurance, and the Deming Co. She was a member of the Living Church in Akron, a 1942 graduate of Salem High School and a member of the Salem Historical Society. Her husband, Walter Warrington, whom she married May 2, 1946, preceded her in death May 27, 2005. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Diane Troy and Norma Campbell; a son, Ralph Warrington; a brother, George Harris; and a sister, Pricilla Baily. She is survived by a son, David Warrington of Atwater; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
