Mary E. Smith, 90, of Ashton, passed away on March 18, 2008, at Franklin Grove Nursing Home.
Mary was born May 5, 1917, in Mahomet, Il. the daughter of Bertie S. Warner and Bessie D. Watson. She married Loren R. Smith on August 3, 1940, at Reynolds United Methodist Church in Ashton, Il.
She is survived by one son, Steen (Kathie) Smith of Oregon, Il.; two daughters, Betty (Robert) Jones of Sublette, Il. and Patricia (David) Ewald of Stillman Valley, Il.; one son-in-law Edward Harden of Dixon, Il.; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Eileen Harden; three brothers, George Warner, John Warner, and Coy Warner.
