Mary E. Sexton, 86, of Crawfordsville, passed away Monday morning at Williamsburg Healthcare.
Mrs. Sexton was born June 29, 1924, in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Roscoe & Letha (Coffman) Cochran.
She is a 1924 graduate of New Richmond High School. She married James W. Sexton on Jan. 8, 1945 in Albuquerque, N.M. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1998. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Sexton of Crawfordsville and Lana Sexton of Ft. Wayne; brother, Dale Cochran of New Market; sister, Judy Hamilton of Lafayette; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; and brothers, Robert, Richard, David, and Maurice Cochran.
