Mary E. Platusich Mast, 95, of Kunkletown and formerly of Bethlehem, passed away after a short illness on Saturday May 26, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank Platusich and the late Harry Mast.
Mary was born in Springfield Township to Hungarian immigrants Elek and Ilka (Helen Fartek Feher) Legat. She led an active life working as a factory worker, housekeeper and governess early in her career. As time passed she became a personal care giver,a job she relished. Spending time with the elderly was a gift. She loved to laugh and had a sarcastic wit which people loved. She loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles, play bingo and travel. Most of all she loved her family and was always ready to help when needed.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Michele Mueller and her husband Rudy of Kunkletown; granddaughters Alicia Kereczman and Jamie DiFulgo and her husband Aaron; brother Charles and sister Rose Adams; many nieces and nephews and her loving great grandchildren Dylan and Keira. Mary was preceded in death by her siblings Alex, Joe Feher, Paul, Ernie and Julia Hanchick.
