Mary E Smith, 78, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born to George and Clara Hensley.
She loved God and never missed a night of church. Mary ran a childcare business out of her home and touched so many children. She also enjoyed her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Smith; son, Milton Smith; two grandchildren, Tara Wynn and Lindsey Gallagher; 10 great-grandchildren; father, George Hensley and two brothers, Lonnie and Olan Hensley. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Hensley; daughter-n-law, Darlene Smith (1999); one sister, Luda Shope and two brothers, Banlar and Wright Hensley.
