Mary Dolores Kilmartin (MacCourt) left her earthly confines Saturday, the 3rd of June, 2016 surrounded by her immediate family at home with love.

Dolores was born in Blanchardstown, Ireland, the 9th of September, 1930 to Gerald and Mary MacCourt. She was the fourth daughter of six children in a typical Irish Catholic family. She was educated in Ireland and went to work as a legal secretary. She met and later married her husband, Fergus J. Kilmartin. Shortly after exchanging their marriage vows, Dolores and Fergus emigrated to America, landing in New York and taking the train to Shoshone, Idaho. The newlywed couple resided in Kimberly and eventually settled in Burley, Idaho, to live the American dream.

Dolores and Fergus raised three daughters:  Patricia (Steve) Kilmartin of Hailey, ID, Janet (Scott) Bressler of Caldwell, ID and Paula (Brad) Schafer of Sherwood, OR.

She was a mother above all else, and took great pride in her girls and her five grandchildren:  Abbey and Rachel Bressler, Riley Kilmartin Schmidt, Bailey and Blake Schafer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fergus, her sisters Marie and Clare, and brother Fergal all of Ireland.  She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, sister Magdalene, brother Colum of England and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dolores will be remembered for being an amazing hostess to anyone who entered her home.
