Mary Louise DeVine, died peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 5, 2011. She was 71.
Born to Elvin and Mary Lee Mattison, she later graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in French. After obtaining her teaching credential she taught junior high school and Sunday bible school courses.
In 1960, she married Thomas DeVine Jr. and they eventually moved to Merced, California to raise their 3 children.
Later, she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to be closer to her family. Our beloved mother and grandmother is survived by her mother; her children Mark, Deborah, and Timothy; and her grandson Charles.
