Mary Roach (DeRuosi), lifelong resident of East Boston, passed away peacefully on February 4th at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Allan Roach.
Devoted mother of the late Allan and Joseph Roach.
Adored aunt and second mother to Salvatore LaMattina and his wife, Lisa, of East Boston, Robert LaMattina of New Hampshire, David LaMattina of New Hampshire, John LaMattina of East Boston, Toni Guaetta of Peabody, and Richard DeRuosi of Revere.
Dear sister of the late Dolores LaMattina, Sue DeRosa and Joseph, Angelo, Richard, David, Salvatore, Anthony, Peter and Sylvester DeRuosi.
She leaves behind her granddaughter, great-grandchildren, and her many great-nieces and nephews.
Fondly referred to as “Auntie Mary” by many, Mary devoted her time to her family and friends. She was known for her strength, will, and compassion.
