Mrs. Garvin was born on November 8, 1927 in Holland, Texas to Isaac Lee and Francis Elizabeth (Morgan) Underwood. She married Louis M. Garvin on September 10, 1971 in Temple, Texas and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Garvin is survived by her husband: Louis M. Garvin of Belton, Texas, 2 sons: Louis N. Garvin and David Garvin both of Sugarland, Texas, 5 daughters: Janice Burleson of Belton, Susan Green of Chapel Hill, N.C., Patti Davis of Belton, Joan Ashburn of Chicago, Ill., and Suzie Rice of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Garvin is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 daughter.
