Mary Dawn Thompson Stephens of Woodville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her residence. She was 76. Born in Morgan County on November 6, 1943 she was the daughter of the late George Roosevelt Thompson and Stella King Thompson. Dawn graduated from Madison High School and on June 29, 1963, she married Charles Lloyd Stephens. She worked for a sewing plant in Athens, GA as a seamstress.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Lloyd Stephens (Irene) of Carlton, GA; brother, Donald Thompson of Eatonton, GA; two grandchildren, Chris Stephens of Woodville, GA and Krystle Wood (Blaze) of Ohio; two great grandchildren, Landyn Wood and Hunter Stephens; a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, L’ven Thompson Epps and Madge Thompson Brake.
