Mary “Dana” Spencer, 74, of Alexandria IN, passed away, peacefully surrounded by family on February 11, 2021, at Community Hospital Anderson, IN.
She was born on July 6, 1946, in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Lane High School, Charlottesville, VA, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of NC, Greensboro, and her master’s degree from the University of Illinois. She retired as IT manager at Terrell State Hospital in Terrell, TX.
Dana is survived by her siblings, Mason Spencer (Dema Stout); Evelyn Spencer Fierce (Sally Fierce); niece and nephew, Michael Hunter Marie and Robyn (Marie) Cleveland (Nathan Cleveland); great-niece and nephew, Ayla and Isaiah Cleveland; best friend, Sandy Chasteen, and other family in Charlottesville, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mason and Mary Ann (Walker) Spencer, Jr. In lieu of flowers, Dana requested donations to your own favorite charity.
