Mary D’Amato Creto, 96, of 38 Highwood Ave., Hamden, passed away Nov, 30, 2007 in The Arden House. She was the widow of Carmine A. Creto and was a former resident of Porter St., New Haven. Born in New Haven Jan. 18, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Fortunata Caporossi D’Amato. She is survived by a son, Anthony J. (Carol) Creto of Hamden; a daughter, Mary Murgo of Cheshire; a brother, Anthony D’Amato of New Haven; a sister, Yolanda D’Amato of New Haven; 3 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Creto and 4 sisters, Edith Fusco, Carrie Arpino, Rose & Julia Fusco.
