Mary Ann Craig, 81, of Vancouver, Washington passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in Vancouver, Washington.
Born, July 8, 1935 in Ft. Sheridan, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Peter Karl and Mary Edna Sturm
Mary Ann was a vibrant, intelligent, kind, loving, happy person who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always had a slight smile on her face. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She lived a long life filled with many adventures. She enjoyed traveling the world. She was a part of many clubs; book, garden and hiking. She was a member of WILPF.
She held a bachelor in political science. She retired from Brown County Welfare Department after 30 years. She received an award for her hard work and dedication. She moved to Vancouver, Washington in 2013 so that her granddaughter Ocheanna and family could care for her in their home during her fight with Dementia. She will be missed terribly by all.
Survivors include her sons Thomas Allen Craig, and Robert Scott Craig, sister, Barbara Macon and family, brother, Peter Sturm (Dianne) and family, grandchildren, Ocheanna Berciles and family, Curtis Favor, Shayna Bonney and family,9 great grandchildren and many maternal cousins of the William and Melissa Moore family with whom she was always very close.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Catherine Craig and one grandson, Michael Luke Favor.
