Mary Elizabeth Cogar 77, of Arthurdale died Friday December 9, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born September 17, 1934 in Missouri a daughter of the late William Michael and Grace Elizabeth (Miller) Brewer. Mary worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Beerbower in Kingwood and for twenty-five years at the WVU Dental School. Mary was a member of the Reedsville United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband Melvin Eugene Cogar of Arthurdale; one daughter Deborah Ann Delicate and husband John of Key West ,FL; two sisters Grace Anderson of NV and Edith Poole of GA; one grandson Jonathan Delicate, and wife Dondi of FL; and three great grandchildren Nicholas, Cyanna, and Brittany. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pauline, one sister, and her first husband James Hartsell.
