Mary ”Cindy” Cooper Goode, 53, Anderson, died November 20, 2002 at Community Hospital, Anderson. She was born November 18, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in this area most of her life. She worked at the Gruenewald House in Anderson and was also a substitute teacher for the Anderson School System.

She was a 1969 graduate of Anderson High School. She attended Foursquare Church in Anderson and was involved in many areas of the church. She loved to collect Santa Clauses and Tea Pots. She loved to write poetry.

She was the past PTO President and volunteered at Southside Middle School, volunteered for Red Cross, was Republican Precint Committeeperson, active in the Madison Heights High School Band and Choir Boosters, volunteered at Westvale School, was a Brownie Leader and volunteered for the Child Team at the Center for Mental Health. She was an organ donor.

She is survived in death by her Husband whom she married June 10, 1967 in Anderson: Joseph Goode. Two Sons: Tim & wife Traci Goode. Tracy Goode & fiancee Heather Cartmel. Two Daughters: Teri & husband Derek Thomas. Trisha Goode. One Sister: Gayla & husband Jim Sterrett of Greenwood. Close Friends: Joanne Bennett and Doris Mason. Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded by her Parents: John & Bernice Garrison Cooper. One Sister: Jean Nelson. Two Brothers: Jimmy Cooper and Larry Cookman.
