Mary Edonilia Chavez, 76, of Ucon, passed away March 29, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 1, 1942, in Cerro, New Mexico, to Pablo Herminio Segura and Erminda Jaramillo Segura. She grew up and attended schools in Payson, Utah.
She married James Sanchez in Idaho Falls. In 1973, they moved to Menan, Idaho. They later moved to Tooele, Utah, and then moved back to Idaho. Mary and James were later divorced. On February 14, 1997, she married Abundio Franco Chavez in Idaho Falls. They made their home in Ucon, Idaho.
She was a member of the New Hope (Nueva Esperanza). She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, crocheting, painting, stenciling, hunting, and hiking.
Mary is survived by her husband, Abundio Chavez of Ucon, ID; daughter, Lori A.
