On Thursday, October 27, 2022, Mary Catherine Conant, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of sixty-five.
Mary was born October 27, 1957, in Lakeland, Florida to George Conant and Florence Gay. Kathy, as her family and friends called her, had a passion for animals. She and her late husband Patrick Dean Martin started an animal grooming shop called Precious Paws. She cherished every animal that came into her shop and treated them as if they were her own. She formed lasting relationships while working there. She also worked at the Polk County Animal Control and at Cleveland Heights Veterinary Clinic Grooming at one time. The devotion she had towards animals could only be matched by the dedication she had for her friends and family. She was the kind of person that would give you her last dollar if you needed it. She was an avid lover of Halloween and anything spooky including horror movies. She was known for her quick wit, her feisty personality and compassionate spirit. She was a force to be reckoned with and everyone knew it.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Florence Martin and her father George Conant. She is survived by her brother Allen Conant, two children, Chrissy Haag and Michael Brown, and her grandson Rylan Brown.
