Mary Carolyn Woods, 65, passed away May 11, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 14, 1946 to Edward and Mary (Swann) Mitchell. Mary was united in marriage to Vince Woods on July 30, 1965 in Japan. She moved to Canon City in 2004 from Georgia, where she had been her mother’s caregiver. Mary was a self employed artist, and belonged to several doll maker clubs. She was a good person, and a very dedicated mother and grandmother. Mary is survived by her husband, Walter Vincent Woods of Canon City; daughter, Dawn I. Williams of Penrose; son, Vincent E. Woods of Canon City; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
