Mary C. Zivkovich, 94, of Rt. 1, Mt. Clare, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 in the United Hospital Center surrounded by her loving family. Mary made her home with her daughter and son-in-law Arley and Barbara Jenkins for 12 years of her life before entering Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab. She was formerly employed at Lovett’s Drive-in and also as their caregiver in later years. Mary was born in Mt. Clare on August 22, 1915, a daughter of the late Martin and Louise Martin Blagaich. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jenkins and her husband Arley, Mt. Clare, and Helen Zivkoviche and Mendel Hill, Arlington, VA; four grandchildren, Kurt Jenkins and Amber Hart, Dublin, VA, Kim Chipps and her husband Joe, Clarksburg, Kevin Jenkins and his wife Olivia, Morgantown, and Kerri Wilkinson and her husband Wayne, Bridgeport; six great grandchildren, Craig, Chadd, and Caden Chipps, Erika Jenkins, and Tyler and Alexis Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Tomica Radman, Antica Livich, Barbara Mestrovich, and Mildred Fragale. Mary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters and Mt. Clare Senior Citizens. She will always be remembered for her baking, crocheting skills and love for candy.
