Mary C. McCleary Velie, 77, of Anderson, passed away on October 23, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Chesterfield.
She was born on April 30, 1935 in Warsaw, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Mary graduated from Leesburg High School. She retired from CEO Cleaning. Mary is survived by her children, Kandy Fred Wainscott of Anderson; Kathy Scott Devoe of Muncie; and Kobey Lyons of Platsmouth, NE; 7 grandchildren, Edith, Don, Marcus, Freddie, Matt, Riley and Aaron; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon & Eva Laughlin McCleary; spouse, Norman Velie; and daughter, Kristy Martin.
