Mary C. Swim, age 91, of Salem, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born September 25, 1922 in Salem, daughter of the late Lewis W. and Margaret E. (Grimm) Dunlap. Mary had worked at the Sanitary Laundry for 7 years and was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Portage, Indiana and sang with the choir. She was preceded in death by husbands, August H. Amburgey, William A. McCoy and Lowell Swim. A son, James Amburgey; three sisters, Margaret Altman, Verna Shoaff and Virginia Hazelwood; and three brothers, Raymond, James and Lee Dunlap also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Amburgey of Massillon and Dennis McCoy of Kent; three sisters, Dorothy Renouf of Plano, Texas, Edna Ward of Galesburg, IL and Elizabeth Lemasters of Deming, New Mexico; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great-grandchildren.
