Born, on November 27, 1943 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Roscoe A. and Thelma M. (Martin) Oliphant, Sr. Mary had worked for the Carol Cook Dress Factory, the Ranch Supermarket, and Wheaton Tubing.
She was married to John Paul Rigby on August 12, 1961, and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1993.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma Oliphant, North Vernon; two sons, Timothy J. (Donna) Rigby, Russellville, Al, Austin (Debbie Hacker) Rigby, Columbus; two daughters, Melanie (Ivan) Neal, Westport, Paula (John) Wimmenauer, Brown County; one brother, Roscoe Oliphant, Jr., Arizona; two sisters, Barbara (Butch) Merritt, Seymour, Yvonne Oliphant, North Vernon; 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; one sister, Beverly Schwering; one great granddaughter, Hayleigh Lebo.
