Mary C. McCorkel, 87, passed away at Haven Hospice, Roberts Care Center Saturday morning, July 24, 2021, after an extended illness.
Mrs. McCorkel was born in Lake City and lived in Seville until 2000 when she came to live in Georgetown. She was a homemaker who loved fishing, gardening, cooking, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Starling.
She is survived by her son, Fred T. Starling, Sr.; daughters, Lisa A. Ricks and Elizabeth K. Brown; brother, Ernest D. Lee; Ten grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
