Mary Foshee Breyer Aagesen, 77, passed away peacefully at Emory University Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2016. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Martha Breyer of Atlanta, and her brother, William Breyer of Roswell, GA.
Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Uffe V. Aagesen, her Children, Stephen Aagesen (Michelle Neustadt), Julie Campbell (Ian Campbell), and Richard Aagesen. Mary enjoyed and was beloved by her 10 grandchildren Mary Clifford (Jeffrey Clifford), Sarah Conklin, Hanne Aagesen, Emily Campbell, Christopher Aagesen, Nicholas Aagesen, Patrick Neustadt, Taylor Neustadt, and Catherine Campbell.
Mary was a magnet for language and culture and she never met a stranger without making them a friend. Mary’s beautiful home and extraordinary demeanor reflected her love of all people and bright outlook on this life. Mary was an artist, gardener, chef, socialite, and a real confidant. Everything she touched became beautiful, including the lives of so many family and friends.
