Mary Boyles Thompson, of Ringgold, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015, at the age of 87. She was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company and a Life Member of AT&T Pioneers. Mary was born in Ringgold, Ga, graduated from Rossville High School, and was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed quilting, and loved her friends and family.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Thompson, Jr., her parents, Annie Davis and Ray Hill Boyles; sisters and brothers, Lillie Belle Armstrong, Gwendolyn “Ginnie” Boyles, Doris B. “Jo” Greever, William E. “Bill” Boyles, Glenn P. Boyles and Charles “Buster” Boyles and nephew, William Beatty Greever.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela (Sam) Lewallen of Bakewell, TN; Dianna Tillman of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Dorothy B. Huskey of Boynton, GA, and Hazel B. Clark of Lexington, SC; grandson, Jerry (Brandy) Hullander, Jr. and three great grandsons, Kyle, Gunter, and Charles Hullander all of Ringgold, GA; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
