Mary Belle Pryor Jones
Mary Belle Jones began her journey on May 13, 1932 and quietly reached her destination on May 31, 2022.
Mary was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the parents of Elwood and Vernice Pryor.
After graduating from Edison High School in Elizabeth NJ with a LPN nursing certificate, she started her career at Elizabeth General Hospital. When Elizabeth General Hospital closed, she transferred to Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Where she ended her nursing career after 55 years.
Mary was a long time faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church in Elizabeth, NJ.
Mary loved to travel to different countries such as Africa, Spain, Portugal,Aruba, Hawaii and many others throughout her life time. She loved bowling so much, she joined a bowling league to keep her busy when she wasn’t working or traveling.
Mary joins in eternity her parents Elwood and Vernice Pryor, her brother Elwood Pryor, sister-in-laws Arlethia and Rose Pryor and nieces Lucille Floyd, Peggy and Susan Pryor. Nephew Myles Pryor.
Celebrating Mary’s life and cherishing her memory is her brother Robert Pryor (Lyla), Nieces, Vernice Pryor, Kia Pryor, Cherishe Floyd Braggs, Nichole Floyd and Edna Brantly. Nephews, Larry Pryor (Renee), Robert Floyd, Charles Starks and Curtis Pryor and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Mary will be missed by so many.
