Mary Beckwith Prescott, 69, Born: October 4, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana passed away on March 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents: G. Willard and Lucille (Ferree) Beckwith, brother; Neil E. Beckwith. Mary is survived by her husband R. Larry Prescott, sons Michael E. Alexander and Ivan D. Alexander (Suzanne), grandson Ivan Alexander, Jr., Nephew Bruce Beckwith (Nancy Lee), Great-niece Julia Beckwith, great-nephews Ryan Beckwith and Andrew Beckwith. Many very close cousins and their children. Mary attended Riley High School in South Bend, IN, Indiana University in Bloomington, IN earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Master of Arts in Psychology, Master of Business Administration and a Ph. D. in Information Systems. She joined the University of South Florida in Tampa as an Associate Professor and taught in the Information Systems and Decision Sciences Department, and later Director of USFs Office of Resources for Business and Industry Training. Mary joined the University of Tampa as Director of Graduate Programs and taught at USF Polytechnic in Lakeland.
